About You:

Twistage is looking for you -- that is, if you've fallen head over heels for Ruby on Rails and aren't afraid to admit it. You think DRY is hot.
 
You enjoy writing new code but you'd much rather use or extend existing open source code whenever possible. You fall asleep at night thinking about coding challenges and occasionally find inspiration in the shower.
 
You have been a major contributor to at least one Rails application that is currently live. You recognize a situation when a database index is needed but also when an index needs to be removed. Your idea of a good time is to make a piece of code do more by eliminating a few lines. You are excited to take a leadership role in a growing team and you like it when people give you suggestions for how to make your code stronger. If you think that getting paid to write code is so good it's almost unfair, please contact us.

  • Killer problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with the ROR framework
  • Strong DB knowledge
  • Comfort with iterative development and test-driven development
